The Missing Link

The Missing Link
Do Catholic Families have to GO somewhere to be served by a priest faithful to
the teachings and Doctrine of the Catholic Faith?

A friend rang me from Perth, Australia where he and his wife are traditional Catholics. They were part of Our Lady of the Southern Cross until, for health reasons, they had to move to a warmer climate. Perth is absolutely devoid of what my friend and his wife had enjoyed while here in Victoria in OLSC. There is no place they can go to a true Mass. His sister is Novus Ordo, the local Church is SSPX. In the middle of our exchanges when he rang he was presenting as terribly lonely in need of true Catholic company. I reminded him that he had everything at his fingertips - that he and his wife have the true faith and to unite praying a Mass silently together, saying the daily Rosary (which he does anyway).

It seemed that my passionate response regarding this basic truth helped him. There was, and is no intention on my part to equate, replace or substitute the family for the Priest. We must diligently and actively seek the services of a priest faithful to the doctrine/teachings/guidelines of Holy Church so clearly brought to our attention through the saintly Archbishop Lefebvre. Such priests are few and far between and families are faced with the very real possibility of rarely having that privilege. More immediately, however, the question is how does a large congregation such as followers of Bishop Fellay deal with the necessity of leaving?

The SSPX Thomas Aquinas school and Corpus Christi church not far from where I live is full of traditional Catholic families who do not know how to leave should they begin, in their hearts, to have doubts about where Bishop Fellay is leading them, that is, into the counterfeit conciliar church.

Where”, they might ask, “can we go?”
  • Bishop Williamson and his 'new church, set-up? Based on an 'authority' he claims to possess, but does not have because Archbishop Lefebvre did not pass it on to any of the four Bishops? A 'church' with himself as a defacto Pope and to where he is leading disaffected priests who leave the neo-SSPX? If we, the laity, follow those disaffected priests we're led into an ecumenical tower-of-babel situation where some priests are sedevacantists, some say 'non una cum' masses without telling those present at their masses that they are assisting at a Mass that is not Catholic since it is not united to the Supreme Pontiff?
  • To the Resistance Movement that is divided within itself with no Bishop leading it?
The Missing Link Supplied
Traditional Catholic Families have the answer at their fingertips

Catholic families who want to leave the neoSSPX do not have to go anywhere. They have the answer right at their fingertips. For them, t'would be like jumping from the frying pan into the fire if the only alternatives open to them are the two listed above. So they are caught between a rock and a hard place. It is within the already constructed traditional family unit where the true faith is kept without compromise on doctrinal issues. Where false teachers cannot penetrate. Wherever access to trusted priests is not possible the rule of supplied jurisdiction operates. It WAS the situation in the SSPX before linking up to the conciliar church. The Pope is still the Pope, albeit a bad one. The Church has had them in the past. Pope Francis is teaching outside of his office when he gives personal opinions that contradict the perennial teachings of Mother Church.

You don't correct Christ and tell Him He is wrong! You abandon Him by dialoguing with, and joining up with Conciliar Rome which is not Catholic. The Truth is non-debatable.

God, has never, and will never leave us orphans. In times past it is the laity that has called the shots and demanded their Shepherds get their act together. Once, in 1243 I believe, all the Cardinals were locked up by the laity until they decided on a new Pope. Catherine of Sienna caused the Pope to leave Avignon and return to Rome.

It is now our turn to pull our Shepherds in line. It is our turn to do our part in saving their souls so that they can get back to the business of saving ours.

That responsibility is upon us now. Abandon false Shepherds; stay IN the true Church where God Himself supplies jurisdiction to the family because saving souls is the primary objective of the Catholic Faith. Pray contemplatively the Mass together as a family led by the father. Pray contemplatively the fifteen decades of the Rosary led by the father.. Pray contemplatively the Stations of the Cross led by the father. Do all this in union with the Mystical Body of Christ uniting spiritually with true Masses being said throughout the world. True Masses will be said throughout the world til the end of time. The role of the Priest is vital but if one is not able to be physically present he is nevertheless present dispensing Sacramental graces to such as pray in the above manner. Families would be keeping their Sunday obligation.

This is the missing link giving the immediate solution by emphasising the power Families already have when abandoned or led away from the truth by Shepherds including the Pope. Neither do such familes have to choose this or that priest. True Catholic priests are very, very few but they are dotted here and there throughout the world. If any group is currently served by such a priest visibly present how long can such a service remain as true priests exhaust themselves to death?

Let God see our faith and allow His liberality to flood over and through us as families. The Church Resides in Those Faithful to Tradition

There is so much incessant noise being created through the debating/talking/speculating voices going on around us endlessly. Until Rome returns to the true Faith there can be no unity between priests. To say otherwise is to deny that the God knew what he was doing when he created the Church with the Pope as Supreme Head. Since Vatican II council we are all at the mercy of personal opinions expressed by individuals/priests/Bishops/Cardinals and even the Pope himself . The Tower of Babel is nothing compared to these times.

Our Lord has not left us orphans. He has provided security for our times. The only time a Catholic is not giving an opinion about the Catholic faith is when he speaks the teachings contained in the pre-Vatican II Catechism. The only time a Catholic practices the true faith handed down from the Apostles is when he obeys the ten commandments. The only time prayers are heard by Our Lord are when they are offered through the intercession of His Holy Mother. She, and she only obtains God's Mercy for us sinners. She, and she alone suffered every millisecond of her life in perfect step by perfect step harmony with Her Divine Son.*

None of us could have been redeemed, nor can be redeemed unless the price Mary paid to obtain mercy for each one of us - is acknowledged. God's justice demands it! If it is not acknowledged there is no salvation.

Because Mary was to be born sometime in history Our Lord showed us mercy, because she alone out of the whole human race, from start to finish, would absorb the fullness of His graces. He chose her because he knew she would seek Mercy for the rest of us, even for those who preceded her time on earth awaiting redemption in the 'Bosom of Abraham'. When Mary consented to be Our Lord's Mother she consented to be our Mother also. Looking back through the Old Testament God always chose leaders who could have saved themselves, but whom he knew when given the choice, would plead for the people they led. Moses is a great example of this:

9And again the Lord said to Moses: See that this people is stiff necked: 10Let me alone,
that my wrath may be kindled against them, and that I may destroy them, and I will
make of thee a great nation.

All the great saints made the same choice. Having paid the penalty for their own sins they could have gone straight to heaven but time and time again they chose to remain. One saint when offered a bejewelled crown chose the Crown of Thorns instead. It is through their merits that God has withheld judgement on us surviving Catholics. But even their charity was made possible by the fact that Mary alone could pass on what she had received in her Immaculate Heart. She passed on the extraordinary grace received when her heart was enlarged to accommodate it's magnitude for the whole human race - for each and every human being.

So long as Christ remains in the Blessed Tabernacle Mary's heart will provide her Son's forgiveness without which it is impossible to be saved. If a soul directly approaches Christ on Calvary for mercy it is because Mary has let it to the foot of the Cross by the graces she alone possesses in her Immaculate Heart.

And so it is in our day. Keep the ten commandments; hold firm to the teachings of the Church clearly expounded in the pre-Vatican II catechism; and pray the Rosary . Offer spiritual Communions when praying through our daily Missals honouring the saints whose mediation is so powerful. Rome will be restored to the true Faith if we keep it ourselves. The babbling voices will be silenced one day - that is for sure. Let's start silencing them now by refusing to take part in them.

Romans 11
33O the depth of the riches of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How
incomprehensible are his judgments, and how unsearchable his ways! 34For
who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been his counsellor?
35Or who hath first given to him, and recompense shall be made him?
36For of him, and by him, and in him, are all things: to him be glory for ever.

My soul doth magnify the Lord:

And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour
Because He hath regarded the lowliness of His handmaid:
for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

For He that is mighty hath done great things to me:
and holy is His Name.
And His mercy is from generation until generations,
to them that fear Him.
He hath showed might with His arm:
He hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.
He hath put down the mighty from their seat,
and hath exalted the lowly.
He hath filled the hungry with good things: and the rich
he hath sent empty away.
He hath received Israel His servant,
being mindful of His mercy:
As He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham
and to his seed for ever.

* Our Lady asks on our behalf for God to take away our sins. Mary does not take them away. She does not remove them. Only God in Christ can remove them by the same grace that preserved Mary from sin and from having the ability to sin.

Anyone not under the refuge of Our Lady’s mantle can be redeemed. Without Mary interceding for us we can never escape hell. Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary, having preserved her from the stain of original sin, united her to Christ's suffering from the moment of His conception in her womb, through every moment of His life, right up to His death on Calvary and beyond. Mary’s fiat prefigured the release of Adam and Eve from Limbo when her divine Son paid the price on Calvary. Preserving Mary from the state of original sin opened the door - not only for the rest of us, but for those who lived before us. Another way of saying this is that Our Lord only had to preserve Mary from the state of original sin to ensure mankind’s redemption from the beginning of time to the end of time. Our Lord knew she would not consent to go to heaven without us - from the first man and woman to the last man woman.

So heaven was deprived of its Immaculate Queen til every man and woman born had access to her Son’s Mercy. She would continue to suffer with us, pleading for us until we stopped asking for her help. Thus she became Co-redemptrix for every person who sought forgiveness for sins. Our Lady’s sufferings in lock-step with her Son fulfilled the role of causing the release of God’s grace mercifully enabling us to face the painful reality of our true state and do penance.

Dear Mother, who alone art worthy - pray for us, Thy children,
that we may become worthy of the promises of Christ. (Hail Holy Queen)

Refusing to seek Mary’s intercession leaves the soul wide open to God’s Justice condemning it to eternal punishment. Conciliar Rome has cut the heart out of the Catholic faith by its rejection of Mary and her many prophetic warnings. How many souls will be lost between now and when Rome returns to the true faith?

Who have recourse to Thee
