A Chinese Catholic asking for help

No matter what they do for school, there is an obligation of the parents to teach them the Catholic faith.
You can teach them in Chinese or English but somehow they must learn the faith.
Do you have the catechism in Chinese? You will want to use pre-Vatican II books so they don’t learn Protestantized conciliar things.

Absolutely right. That is my obligation to teach my children our faith. I have pre-Vatican II catechism in English pdf version. You know, state-run Church never published books of real catechism, the books which CCP allowed to be prompted in Church books store are all wrote by priests who belong to Chinese patriotic Catholic Association, aka state-run church. What those priests preached are all water down catechism. They never criticized CCP or today's situation of Church.

This is a photo of celebrating Christmas in a state-run Church somewhere in China. They are dancing and singing before the altar.

Yes that is terrible how things are in the state-run Church in China. In North America while it is not state run,
the same horrendous even heretical things are taught and happening. So sad for our dear Lord to see so many lose their souls because of this.

Yes. We are in a collapsing age. Pray and wish God to end all those mess and have mercy on our poor souls.

It is a blessing from God pual for us to recognize all this while so many cannot see the evil.
We must thank God for His goodness to allow us to see it, and pray that we do not fall for the devil’s tricks which he will never stop playing on us and those around us. We wish you the best in teaching the love of God to your children.

Yes. Absolutely right. I love and thank God greatly for so much grace upon me. I will try my best to educate my children our precious faith. May almighty God choose at least one of my sons to be a priest to serve HIM. :)

Dear Pual, I do understand your great dilemma, perhaps if Cor Marie Admin agrees that it can be done.
I could send to them copies of little lessons that I have kept from when my daughter was at the old SSPX
back in 1989 and it could then be put on the computer 1 or 2 lessons a week, also if you listen to Fr Hewko's
Catechism talks also available on this great site, you would then be able to talk to them about the lessons.
Wishing you many special Graces from God and His Most Blessed Mother to help you teaching your little ones
our Faith, but as one gets older one sadly realises that we, the parents, have first to set the GOOD EXAMPLE
for them to imitate. God Bless you

Dear Mirella, thanks for your kindness. My children will learn English in school and I will teach them traditional Catechism or correct what they learned in school if we are arriving in Canada. That is my plan. God bless. :)

Mirella, if you would like to send the copies of lessons you kept for your daughter - please send them via the 'contact' button at the bottom of the forum. If any members have similar material please also send them. Admin.
