    The Abuse of God’s Mercy
    Sep 20, 2015

There is so much talk about God’s mercy these days and yet many people have the wrong idea about it. To put it simply, the purpose of God’s mercy is to call the sinner to repentance, that is, to have the sinner turn away from his sins, beg God’s forgiveness, and amend his life. If the sinner refuses to repent, then he abuses God’s mercy and can consequently expect God’s punishment upon him. Without repentance, God cannot forgive the sinner. If the sinner persists in his sin and dies in that state (i.e., with the guilt of mortal sin), he will be condemned to hell forever.

Let us read and meditate on the words of St. Alphonsus Liguori, Doctor the Church and moral theologian par excellence, on this matter. This meditation was taken from his book called “The Way of Salvation and of Perfection”.

If we do not understand the true meaning of God's mercy then we will fall into the Pope: Aborting Mothers given full pardon in Year of Mercy ? in union with the conciliar counterfeit church, namely that God forgives sins without the need of true sorrow/contrition. If we do not repent of our sins then we cannot Monday after Pentecostwhy Our Lord became incarnate. We avoid theThursday after Pentecost so cannot know that we are sinners.* We cannot receive the gifts of the Holy Ghost because we have not received the Holy Ghost therefore we cannot pray to God at all. If we cannot ask , through prayer, for His Mercy how can we receive it?

What are the gifts of the Holy Ghost? We

According to the Prophet Isaias they are seven: 1.The gift of wisdom, which enables us to know God, to esteem spiritual more than temporal advantages, and to delight only in divine things. 2. The gift of understanding, by which we know and understand that which our faith proposes to our belief; children and adults should pray fervently for this gift, especially before sermons and instructions in the catechism. 3.The gift of counsel, which gives us the knowledge necessary to direct ourselves and others when in doubt, a gift particularly necessary for superiors, for those about choosing their state of life, and for married people who live unhappily, and do not know how to help themselves. 4. The gift of fortitude, which strengthens us to endure and courageously overcome all adversities and persecutions for virtue's sake. 5. The gift of knowledge, by which we know ourselves, our duties, and how to discharge them in a manner pleasing to God. 6. The gift of piety, which induces us to have God in view in all our actions, and infuses love in our hearts for His service. 7. The gift of the fear of the Lord, by which we not only fear the just punishment, but even His displeasure at every sin, more than all other things in the world.

The gift of Holy Fear, or the Fear of God,

<div align="left"> is actually the foundation of all other gifts.
It drives sin from the heart,
because it fills us with reverence
either for the Justice of God, or for the divine Majesty.

    * The counterfeit Church is promoting as truth, with the help of the neo-SSPX, that sinners avoid having to accept that they are sinners. It is merciful to the degree that the whole world is redeemed without the need for repentance and true sorrow that enables the inflow of Christ's redemptive power.. In the name of Christ they are sanctifying Prince Lucifer's kingdom on earth.

It is a direct sin against the Holy Spirit that will be forgiven neither in this world or the next.
