OLSC hs great pleasure in introducing members and readers to Rev Father Raphael. OSB The following introductory letter will give you an idea of this brave and holy priest/monk's answers to the errors of FSSPX and the persecution suffered at the hands of Bishop Aquinas/Bishop Williamson.

“Uncompromising Catholics must consider this as a ‘red light’ to attending the Masses of all SSPX priests because they all cooperate with our Lord’s enemies at least by being members of the new-SSPX and also by softening their opposition to SSPX liberalism to the lower level tolerated by their SSPX superiors. Any SSPX priest who believes that he is speaking out strongly, loudly and continually against the liberalism of his SSPX superiors, is fooling himself.

“Any priest who fearlessly stands against SSPX liberalism can count on our help amplifying his voice by which he opposes his superiors’ liberalism. Then he will soon no longer be in the (so-called) internal resistance because he will see how fast the iron fist of Menzingen crushes and expels him as soon as he begins to really make a difference by standing fearlessly against his superiors’ liberalism.

“At that time, uncompromising Catholics will have a ‘green light’ to attend his Masses because then he also will be an uncompromising soldier of Christ the King.”

Dear family, faithful & friends who fight for the faith “by cover and sword”. In the absence of leadership and to fight the poison of the confusion and ambiguity that makes us lull the weapons, that should be constantly sharpened, for the fight for the defense of Christ the King and His Church and as part of my moral and spiritual responsibility of paternity that I have upon you, I have written you the next lines, that way has wanted the Divine Providence.

You know that in other time, by God’s grace, I was sacristan of the Saint Athanasius church of the FSSPX, day and night for 5 years, and that now I’m monk and priest, so, could it be that Father Rafael no longer wants to serve God nor save souls as he wants to drive us away from the FSSPX?

I want you to reflect about the next fact that you all know. I have, as a religious, perpetual vows of obedience in the Benedictine order, and despite that I had to leave and in conscience I still can’t go back to my monastery.

This only fact should leave you thinking that one of two things is happening: or Father Rafael suffered something extremely serious that caused him to leave the FSSPX or the second option is that Father Rafael is crazy; since he left his monastery with perpetual vows and that can’t be done without putting in great danger the salvation of his soul.

Or one thing or the other is true, and since we’re talking about a serious topic that has to do with the faith and the salvation of the souls, at least Father Rafael’s soul, then you’re oblige to ask yourselves what’s happening and start to investigate or help Father Rafael for charity, so he doesn’t lose his soul.

For my part, I want to give you a little light so you know which direction to take. “El justo vive de la fe” Our Lord Jesus Christ says. So, the catholic must move by the light of the faith more than the light of the opinions or people of the FSSPX, or the appearances. The catholic principles must be our guide to follow above everything else. If the opinions, people, appearances or the FSSPX adjust to the faith, the principles, the truth, then we follow them. But if it’s not that way, then it’s clear that we could not follow them as “without the faith, it’s impossible to please God” and because “only the one who believes will be saved”.

Now, you’ll ask me, at what point, dear Father Rafael, the FSSPX is getting away from the faith as for me to decide not to follow it and to get away from it, just like you did when you left your monastery? Answer: Putting in danger the faith is a sin against the first and second commandment of God’s law.

In religion issues whether one is with Christ or against Christ, there’s not a middle line or possible commitment, this is the first commandment of God’s law, in this would be the “radicalism” accusation with which Mons. Lefebvre and his followers were accused from Vatican II, who decided to embrace the ecumenism and religious freedom.

To be with Christ we must reject the Vatican II and its diabolical spirit that has created other religion with the appearance of being catholic. To that religion we must condemn it and fight it, and we can’t take part with it under penalty or threat of being betraying Christ.

Now, the FSSPX since 1996 with the creation of the GREC, has been systematically trying to reincorporate to this false religion in appearance “catholic”. The catholic wins or loses at the level of the faith. At the level of the faith, this attitude of compromise is totally reprehensible, especially because is something habitual and is a politic of law established by the FSSPX. “Por sus hechos los conoceréis”. This attitude of adultery with other religion in a systematic way is what forces us to separate ourselves from the FSSPX in a habitual way.
    Objection:

1.- But we want to resist internally without leaving the FSSPX.
Answer: The head of the SSPX changed the course of the boat, you can not resist inside the ship
without fighting with the general of the boat. One could stay in that boat only if the general returned to
the original course. Therefore there is the sin of OMISSION, when one does not do what one should
do. Although those who go on the ship have not changed course, it is enough that the boat changes
direction and that they do not react against the captain of the ship to consider accomplices of the
diversion of the ship at least by omission. If the ship is heading for ruin (acceptance of VII, new mass,
etc.) who would not jump just to please the captain? When the captain followed the principles of Jesus
Christ we had the obligation to follow, help and pray for the captain.

    2. But we do not see any bad changes in practice.
Answer: Faith is of the things that are not seen. The battle is at the level of principles. Waiting to react
until you see the consequences of false principles is like wanting to leave the ship, which has already
changed course, only when it is sinking; That would be too late to react.

    3. But the superiors have the grace of state, just pray.
Answer: Our Lord said "Watch and pray not to fall into temptation". He did not say, "Pray and trust in
superiors." Rather he asked us to keep watch as there may be lobsters among the shepherds, among the
sheep. That one has the grace of state does not mean that one is necessarily going to be faithful to that
grace. "The righteous sin 7 times a day," says the Ecclesiastic.

    4. You have to obey the superiors.
Answer: Yes, always, except when they send us something against the faith or the commandments.
Faith is above obedience. That is why blind obedience is forbidden. And that is why Jesus Christ said:
    "The righteous live by faith."

    5. But we need the sacraments, I will only go to the SSPX for the sacraments.
Answer: The living of faith is the spirit of the sacraments. A communion or spiritual Mass can be worth
more to a well-disposed person, than the sacraments to an ill disposed person. God is faithful and
supplies our needs with His power, mercy, and goodness. "Without faith it is impossible to please
God." A priest without faith or endangering faith is not pleasing to God and should not be followed.
The priest's faith or lack of faith can foster or endanger the faith of the parishioner.

It is a danger against faith to frequent a priest who himself is endangering his faith. And when the
priority of the Congregation to which that priest belongs is no longer ladefensa of the faith and the
teaching of the truth, it loses its flavor and its reason to exist. Or something brings us to Christ or drives
us away. Or the priests take us to Christ or drive us away. "He who does not gather with me scatters",
does scatter but gives valid sacraments then could he go to receive those sacraments? The answer is
no!. Many priests of the Fraternity of St. Peter give valid sacraments, mons Lefebvre forbade to go with
them, he said, those of St. Peter betray us in the struggle for the defense of the faith.

It is a sin to jeopardize the faith. It is to endanger the faith by attending a priest whose religious Society
no longer has as priority Christ, faith and truth, since it would no longer be with Christ but against
Christ. And one becomes an accomplice of a sin by omission, when in serious matter one does not act
or resist when he should act or resist.

    6. But we have to remain united, we do not want division.

Answer: Our Lord Jesus Christ only promised union in faith, hope and charity. Supernatural union with Jesus Christ. To get out of faith or charity, or fight for faith and charity is to get out of the fight for
Jesus Christ, is not to fight under his banner. When the defense of faith ceased to be a priority, the
SSPX automatically divided with the sword those who want to continue fighting for faith in charity, of
those who want to remain united by a different link from that of faith in charity. Which divide are not
the resisters of modernism but those who compromise with modernism. That is, those who divide are
not the real resistors, but those who want to keep unity apart from the struggle for faith (Bishop Fellay).
God bless you, they are in my daily prayers and Masses.

    Live Christ the King!

    1. Treatment by Bishop Aquinas
Fr. Pfeiffer also disclosed in a recent sermon (Min. 19:40), from speaking to one of the monks in the morning, who was one of his former seminarians, the update and circumstances of Fr. Raphael being thrown out of the monastery in Columbia he was in (owned by the faithful) who happened to write in a letter to inquiries of faithful if they can go to the new mass because BW said they could. Fr. Raphael said NO, you cannot go to the new mass. Period. That letter is above.

That letter got to Bishop Thomas Aquinas who in turn influenced the Colombian faithful not to go to Fr. Raphael's masses and to throw him out of the monastery. Which is why Fr. Raphael and monks had to quickly pack their bags and then went to Ecuador. While there, providence had already prepared twelve Benedictine woman religious sisters being persecuted by Rome to change their constitutions; they said no. The traditional Benedictine priest Fr. Raphael just so happen to arrive from being thrown out of Columbia showed up "just in time"...the sisters asked him to take care of them. And then 15 Franciscan sisters in Columbia were being thrown out and heard of Fr. Raphael, at the same time a letter of Fr. Pfeiffer sent to Bishop Thomas Aquinas asking him why he is doing these things and also influencing faithful NOT to go to the masses of Fr. Cardozo. That letter got on the internet and someone translated it to spanish to were the Colombian faithful started to understand what is really going on in which Fr. Raphael was able to also go back to the monastery and those Franciscan sisters asked too for him to take care of them. The twelve Benedictine sisters are in process to go to Columbia too.

What providence. When someone closes a door, God opens others to bear fruit when one is faithful to Him.

    Deo gratias...

Fr. Raphael, OSB: Christmas Newsletter 2017

    Saint Joseph Benedictine Monastery

    PAX

    Dear friends and benefactors:

On this Christmas we want to thank God and each one of you for your help, encouragement,
and support towards this your Saint Josephs Monastery. We ask the Blessed
Virgin of Guadalupe to pour down upon you her most chosen blessings.

We want also to give you a Christmas gift; we want to offer to you to our holy
father St Benedict together with all his blessings. We want to give you him as your father
and protector: how? We invite you to become part of the benedictine family. We encourage
you to make a petition of enrollment in order to become a secular oblate of St Benedict.

Beforehand we want to place 2 things on the actual context of the crisis of the
Church, both our Order of St Benedict and also our San José´s monastery:

The day of our baptism the priest asked us:
“V: ¿What do you ask of the Church of God?

And we firmly answered through our godparents: "The faith”.
“V: What does the faith gives you?” “R: Life Everlasting!!”

Thus started the most important ceremony in our life by which began our supernatural
life, our union with God, our felicity which will end up in Heaven. Our faith was
on that day, and always shall be, the key to enter into the intimate Life of God. For that
reason we need to insist without rest that our combat must be focused on the defense of
this sacred faith, our combat cannot be focused instead in keeping just unity around
leaders or groups as the false resistances do while they disregard the faith.

Some naive faithful deceived when they like to use the expression “organized
resistance” to name those “resistants” who have as leaders “traditional” bishops who in
fact are not fighting for the faith anymore. Let us not be deceived, dear friends: anyone
who has not as flag “the fighting for the faith”; the flag of the faith’s union with Christ,
DOES NOT deserve to receive the name of resistance but instead the should be name as
resistants and part of THE DESISTANCE.

“A hierarchical and organized Resistance” only shall be that one which fights for
the holy faith together with the celestial army. This kind of Resistance shall exist when a
whole army of the mystical Body of Christ be in battle array having as general in chief to
the Blessed Virgin Mary. On these times of weakness and general confusion God is offering
to our souls a hierarchical and organized Resistance: the most glorious Order of St
Benedict. This is an army with more than 15 centuries of fight to implant the Kingdom of
Christ the King in the world and which has the promise from God to keep always this
fight even still the second coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Order also has the promise
of granting a decisive and important service to the Holy Catholic Church on her last
fight against the hosts of the antichrist.

Our Holy Order of St. Benedict possesses all the necessary weapons to answer the
the present crisis. We count with the leadership of St. Benedict, terror of demons, together
with his army of 57,000 saints fighting together with your humble San José´s monastery.
The Order counts within herself with all the graces, blessings, and promises we
need to triumph on this battle while fighting on the side of Our Lord Jesus Christ and His
    Most Blessed Mother.

Our Order is regulated by the most Holy Rule of the glorious patriarch St. Benedict.
Rule which was canonized by five popes as wholly inspired by the Holy Ghost. The
benedictine monks Christianized and civilized Europe. They grounded and helped strongly
the glorious theocentric empires of the middle ages. Divine Providence even promoted
17 benedictine popes who most powerfully printed the spirit of St Benedict on Christendom.
Among them let us mention St. Gregory the Great, St Gregory VII, and Gregory
    XVI.

Since several centuries ago the laws of the Church have been protecting the Order
of St Benedict. The Church named our order as an exempt order from any episcopal
jurisdiction. Divine Providence wanted to place the Order directly under the dependence
of the Pope in ordinary times. This is the way Divine Providence has kept the Ordinaries
themselves away from interference in any way in the governance of the benedictine
monasteries. This exemption has been keep even on these extraordinary times of general
apostasy. Those acts of Divine Providence answer to those scrupulous, lacking in doctrine
people, who just because they do not see a bishop governing a monastery, consider the
very fact as a weakness. That´s absurd! On the contrary, the Church in her wisdom wanted
to preserve the force of the monastic spirit through this providential measure. They
forget to easily that wherever a benedictine monastery be, there also shall be Saint Benedict
together with all his army! Even in normal times of the Church, our abbots and
benedictine priors had always perfect and direct jurisdiction upon their monasteries and
    dependencies.

By the grace of God, and in accord to the laws of the Church, your San José´s
monastery enjoys all the rights and privileges of the Benedictine Order. A principle of
law teaches that if the members of a religious body die or for any other reason cease to
belong to that religious body, those who are left, even if he be only one, that only member
would represent the whole religious body together with all his rights, obligations,
and privileges (CIC 102 -2). Thus, per example, if all cardinals were to die except one,
that cardinal alone could elect a pope. Thus, our San José´s monastery, in spite of being
the weaker and smallest of all traditional benedictine monasteries, after the regrettable
defection of Le Barroux, Silver City, Bellaigue, and Santa Cruz (because their compromises
either by commission of omission with the enemy on matters pertaining to the faith),
it seems we remain steadfast ALONE because of the grace of God and in spite of our indignity.
For that reason, if we exist, it is because we represent the whole Order of St.
Benedict. And any one who decided to be linked to San José’s monastery would
REALLY be linked also to that Resistance highly strong and organized, acknowledged
as such for more than 15 centuries.

What we want to propose to all our friends and benefactors is to enter in membership
into the army of St. Benedict. On the context of the great spiritual needs we
have on the present crisis of the Church, and in order to strengthen yourself. This is our
wish for you on this Christmas, to invite each one of you, children, young men and women,
adults, either married or singled, to become part of the benedictine family. The
only thing we ask you to do if you are interested, is to write us at the email benedictinosdesanjose@gmail.com, asking us to be accepted as a secular oblate.

Let us fight together the diabolic monster of modernism inside the army of St Benedict.
This is something really great that Divine Providence has in stock for us in order
to have a STRONG RESISTANCE on these times of general apostasy.

I suggest you to pray and meditate upon this offering with supernatural spirit.
Saint Benedict is offering himself to fight with you and he promises you plenty of blessings,
fortitude, wisdom, and holiness that you need to fight this battle with the help of
this army whose general in chief is the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Please count with our prayers for you and your family.

With my blessing and wishing you a very blessed Christmas.

Father Raphael OSB and the monks.

    Fr. Rafael. O.S.B., and Sedevacantism
    Sep 3, 2018

As some consider whether to continue supporting the Kentucky Fathers amidst the recent Ambrose Moran issue, I have had questions regarding whether Fr. Rafael, O.S.B., is a Sedevacantist. I wrote this post in February 2017 about this same issue. I repeat that Fr. Rafael is NOT a Sedevacantist. Furthermore, Fr. Rafael is NOT “non una cum”. He does pray for Pope Francis in the Canon of the Mass. This was confirmed to me by Fr. Rafael himself on September 1, 2018. You may contact Fr. Rafael directly about this or any other questions you may have at the following e-mail address:
